Why cloud
The server room used to be the heart of every business. Now it's often just a liability. Hardware ages, capacity runs out, and one bad weekend can mean days of recovery. Cloud changes that equation entirely.
We help Australian businesses move their infrastructure to Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments that match how they actually work. Not a wholesale rip-and-replace, but a considered approach that puts the right workloads in the right places. Some things belong in the cloud. Some things work better on-site. The trick is knowing which is which.
Whether you're running a single file server or a complex multi-site operation, we design cloud solutions that fit your business today and scale for where you're headed.
What we deliver
Cloud means different things to different organisations. Here's what we actually do:
- Azure and AWS infrastructure, servers, storage and applications in Microsoft or Amazon data centres. Pay for what you use, scale when you need to, and let someone else worry about hardware failures.
- Hybrid environments, local servers talking to cloud services with secure connections between them, so on-premise and cloud work together seamlessly.
- Virtual desktops, full Windows desktops in the cloud. Your team logs in from any device and gets their familiar environment, ideal for remote teams or BYOD policies.
- Cloud migrations, moving from physical servers or outdated infrastructure to cloud platforms. We handle the planning, the migration and the cleanup, most with zero user downtime.
- Ongoing management, monitoring, optimisation, patching and active cost management so you're not paying for resources you don't need.
Azure or AWS?
Both are excellent. The right choice depends on your situation. If you're already using Microsoft 365, Azure is the natural extension, with deep integration into Entra ID, seamless authentication and a familiar management experience. It makes particular sense for organisations standardised on Microsoft technologies or needing hybrid identity with on-premise Active Directory.
AWS has the broadest range of services and often wins on raw compute economics. If you're running Linux workloads, containerised applications or need specific capabilities, AWS might be the better fit. We work with both platforms and help you choose based on your actual requirements rather than marketing. Sometimes the answer is a mix of both.
Our approach to migrations
Every migration starts with understanding what you have and where you want to be. We audit your current environment, map dependencies, and identify what should move, what should stay, and what should be retired entirely.
We plan migrations in phases, minimising risk and disruption. Critical systems get extra attention. We run parallel environments when needed, so you always have a fallback, and we don't declare victory until everything is running smoothly and your team is comfortable.
Post-migration, we stick around. Cloud environments need ongoing optimisation, proper security operations and reliable backup and recovery. We monitor performance, right-size resources and actively manage costs so you're not surprised by your monthly bill.
