I keep hearing two extremes. Either AI is going to replace everyone, or it's just a gimmick. Both are wrong. What we're actually seeing with clients is something more practical. AI handles the repetitive, time-consuming tasks that nobody enjoys. Data entry. Report generation. First-pass document review. The humans then spend their time on the work that requires judgement, creativity, and relationship building.
The businesses getting real value from AI right now aren't the ones with the most sophisticated tools. They're the ones that took the time to understand where their people were losing hours to low-value work, then applied automation to those specific problems. It's not glamorous. It won't make the news. But it's saving real hours every week and letting good people do better work.
